Wodonga / Albury Camera Club Inc

Welcome to the Wodonga / Albury Camera Club Website

WACC is a Australian Camera Club located on the border of Victoria and New South Wales on the banks of the mighty Murray River, and comprising members from both sides of the border.
We are an incorporated body in Victoria and come under the Victorian Association of Photographic Societies Inc (VAPS).
We meet on the second Monday of the month at the Felltimber Community Centre in West Wodonga. The Club activities include competitions, workshops and outings.

WACC Exhibition 'Hyphen - Through the Viewfinder' 2023

In 2023 WACC held a very successful Exhibition at the Hyphen - Wodonga Library Gallery

'The Paatsch Shield 2024'

On Sunday 18th of August Both WACC and BCC members travelled to the Wangaratta Club at Wangaratta, to hear the results of this years Paatsch Shield. (Our judge who Critiqued the competition images was Sam Mariani.).
After a chat and a nice meal, we watched a video of the Award Presentation.
The winner this year was the Benalla Camera Club. Congratulations to Benalla.

August 'Open Subject' Competition

The August meeting saw a good turn up of 31 members. (Our judge Lyn Haywood gave the image Critique via Zoom. (there is no written comments this composition).
Images fromn our recent workshop out at the Wonga Wetlands were viewed and given a criquite by members.
Members are reminded that on Sunday 18th August, Benalla Camera Club and Wodonga Albury Camera Club will come together at the Wangaratta Club to have lunch and witness the announcement of the results of the 2024 Paatsch Shield.

'Composition Workshop'

On Sunday the 7th of July members travelled to the Wonga Wetlands for a workshop on photographic composition.
After a short talk by Brian and Yvonne, members headed off for a leisurely walk around the Wet Lands practising what they learnt.
A big thank you to the co-organisers for this outing, Brian Paatsch and Judy Hofmeyer.
