Wodonga Go Karts 2019

In August eighteen members attended the local Go Kart Club's August club day at their Wodonga track. The outing provided members an opportunity to test out their camera capabilities as well as their panning techniques. The elevated canteen decking provided a popular vantage location in addition to a few using ladders to gain a clear view of the track. Some members got closer to the action by going trackside (safe areas) thanks to permission from the Go Kart Club officials.

Hume Weir Outing 2014

In November members attended a workshop and BBQ dinner out at Lake Hume. The weather was fine and there was a promise of an excellent sunset. First order of business was to start everyone using AV where you control the aperture and also lifting your ISO. What this achieves is that you control two sides of the triangle to get good shots - speed, aperture & ISO. As the light faded the speeds started to drop so this is why you need to use a (very sturdy) tripod and a remote control.
The co-ordinator for this was Garry Pearce and David Woolcock.
